Dining
Once you enter the expo area, leaving for a meal outside can be quite challenging due to the park's vast size. While there are on-site restaurants, they may not accommodate the large number of visitors during peak hours, making it challenging to secure a table. This is why many visitors opt to bring packed lunches like kimbap. Additionally, each garden section has its own café where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and recharge your energy, a welcome break during your exploration.
Impressions
The Suncheon National Garden Expo exceeded my expectations in many ways. Despite its immense size and the high number of visitors, the gardens remained tranquil and allowed for a leisurely appreciation of their beauty. While I was already familiar with the enchantment of the reed fields, the gardens I explored on this occasion were exceptionally vast and breathtaking.
In addition to the natural beauty, the expo offered a wide array of events and activities, ensuring that visitors could have a truly enjoyable time. Music performances, interactive events, and more were scattered throughout the park, and at Ohcheongreen Square, you could enjoy amazing performances and events, all free of charge. The expansive grounds and abundant offerings made it clear that without proper information, you might miss out on a lot. My two-day trip was filled with exploration and experiences, offering a deep appreciation for Suncheon's beauty.
Another noteworthy aspect was the organization of the event. Perhaps due to its long duration, the event organizers were highly efficient in crowd control, ensuring that events proceeded smoothly, safely, and cleanly.
Ultimately, this visit made me appreciate Suncheon's beauty even more, and I can't help but think I'll be returning to this charming city every year to witness its wonders once again.
